The floor surface temperature must never exceed 27°C. This is a universal technical requirement for all wood flooring over underfloor heating systems.
This limit exists because above 27°C, wood begins to lose moisture faster than it can reabsorb it, leading to shrinkage, gapping between boards, and potential warping.

The total thermal resistance of the floor should not exceed 0.14 m²K/W. This includes the board itself and any adhesive layer. Most 12–15mm engineered parquet boards from PerfektoWood fall well within this limit.

Use MS Polymer (silane-modified polymer) adhesive applied full-surface. This adhesive dries with a slight flex, accommodating minor wood movement while maintaining full contact with the heated screed. Avoid rigid PVA adhesives for UFH applications.
No. Floating installation is not recommended for parquet over underfloor heating. The click or tongue-and-groove connections can loosen with repeated expansion and contraction cycles. Full-surface glue-down is required for all parquet patterns including chevron and herringbone.
Wait at least 24 hours after installation for the adhesive to cure, then increase the temperature gradually — no more than 1–2°C per day — over 15–20 days until reaching normal operating temperature.
